Handicap 20-30
Have been playing my new graphite shafted X-22s for about two months now and am totally in awe of them. The replaced my older Callawy VFTs, which were once billed as the easiest golf clubs on the face of the planet to hit. Well, the VFT technology, plus the rest of the X-series technology has been nicely married in these clubs. It is hard to hit a bad shot with them. Even muffed shots get decent distance and the roll these clubs generate is totally unbelieveable. I've listed my handcap a 20-30, but since I'

The X-22 and 22 Tour are both very good iron sets. The X-22 is a wider sole design and offers larger cavity backing for optimal forgiveness while the 22 Tour is a more slender profile with minimal offset. One of the biggest differences is the shaft type. The X-22 is the standard Callaway uniflex while the 22 Tour is built with Rifle Project X. Per the shaft, I would suggest for most ladies to go with the X-22 iron set but if you can swing the heavier weighted Project X then the 22 Tour would be

Frank, in all honesty most golfers do not benefit from custom fit irons becuase the average golf swing is too inconsistent. If you are near 6 feet with 35" arm length you may be most comfortable with a 1/2" extension. If you do go with that 1/2" over, I would definately suggest having the club bent to at least 1 degree upright as the extension will flatten the overall lie angle. The reason you are able to make better contact when you grip down is because you are comfortable which in my opionion
