The 18 degree Taylor Made Burner you have is the fairway wood. It is not designed to replace any iron out of your bag. The #4 Burner Rescue you have is the utility club designed to replace your 4 iron.
The main thing to look for in a hybrid is the face angle or long iron distance you are looking to replace. Once you have determined what gap to fill, you need to look into frogiveness/workability. If you are looking for a more forgiving option, a hybrid such as the Burner High Launch should suit you well.
If you hit this fairway wood good,do you think you would get more height or distance out of it?thanks.

Great Question.
The answer is both! They go hand in hand together. That's why so many companies taught High Launch clubs or balls. More carry, etc.....More height should translate into more distance.
