To build the most forgiving all-stainless steel set of golf clubs Callaway Golf has ever developed, the engineers set aside conventional thinking, utilized innovative technologies and have redefined the shape of super game-improvement. The new Big Bertha Irons take forgiveness to new heights by integrating a set of clubs featuring the new i-brids™, clubs designed to replace hard-to-hit long irons. The three i-brids combine the accuracy and control of irons with the forgiveness and versatility of a hybrid and are the most highly playable hybrid-like irons Callaway Golf could make. The set smoothly transitions into traditionally shaped irons that feature increased offset, a larger effective hitting area and a constant width sole for better forgiveness.
I-brids™ blend the control and accuracy of irons with the forgiveness, distance and versatility of hybrids
Super game-improvement mid and short irons deliver the ultimate in forgiveness with increased offset
Fully integrated set design provides seamless performance progression with consistent distance separation w/ optimal trajecto

I'm a high handicap golfer, but improving pretty quickly (shot a 92 the other day). I get pretty good distance (285 w/driver, 200 w/3 iron, 105 w/SW), and make some good shots, but sometimes top the b

Joe, great question. The iron set you currently play is keeping you from lowering your scores even further. All of the Callaway sets are good options. The X-22 sets may be a little higher than the price you are looking for if you want a brand new set. If you experience pain in those areas graphite may help as it reduces the amount of vibration at impact. The X-18R set is an excellent set for your handicap level and budget however you will only get steel shafts as that is all that is offered. The

Hi, thanks for the question. I am sorry, but the big bertha irons from the open box special are only available in men's. -PArker
unfortunately this iron set cannot be ordered with custom specs as it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The New Big Bertha Diablo Edge irons will be taking their place and will be available to have custom built within the coming months.
I have a problem hittin my irons cleanly. I have a lot of power and can drive the ball with my Callaway Big Bertha driver about 300 yrds. Are these irons a good fit for me and if not what do you guys

Thank you for your inquiry. The only missing information is your height. If you can give me your height in inches I can inform you of which lie/length combo would suit you best. Thanks. Andy.
I recently acquired a new set of Big Bertha irons the 3, 4, 5 irons are I-Brid and the rest, 6-sw, are regular irons. Where can i obtain a set of head covers for these?
Thank You

Unfortunately Callaway does not make iron covers for the I-Brid sets. The closest option I would have avaialble are the oversize neoprene covers which in all honesty would most likely not fit your I-Brids. You may be able to use a generic hybrid cover to fit your 3,4 & 5 irons.
I keep reading about length of shaft, measuring wrist to floor, I am short, so what does this measurement tell me and how do I apply it to shaft length

Thank you for your question in regard to shaft lengths. The measurement from wrist to floor will determine which length you will need your shaft set at. Typically, shorter golfer will need their irons/woods cut down in order to maximize proper impact. Please determine the length of your arm from wrist to floor from a standing upright position with your arms at your side and I can determine the optimal length for you.

Also your wrist to floor measurement will determine what lie angle you need. I'm 5'3" and I needed my clubs flattened 3 degrees from standard! Look into it!
I am a average golfer looking for new clubs...current set had extra inch added to shaft length, but not sure I needed it. I am 6'2"...would a custom club fitting be recommended or would std shaf

Thank you for your inquiry. Typically guys your height will need added length to the shaft with an upright lie angle. Your arm length from wrist to floor will give a better idea as to how much additional length is needed. The majority of golfers in your height range would benefit from a 1/2" extended shaft and a 2 degree upright lie angle. The custom iron set will definately improve your ball striking ability and your consistency in your iron play. Please give us a call if you have further quest

I have old clubs looking to buy new how do I tell if my clubs are to long or short.
Wondering what uniflex shaft is comparable to. I currently have stiff flex shafts and would like to maintain.

Thanks for your question.
A UniFlex shaft falls inbetween a stiff and regular but most likely is closer to a regular flex.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
