I have had this driver for almost two years now and I am so convinced with it exceeding its design objective that I am contemplating buying a second just to have as a back up should anything happen to this one! I have always been a long ball hitter but what really has me excited is my newfound abililty to hit the fairway with confidence and consistancy. The only drawback is when you forst get the driver it is rather loud on impact, but I would gladly exchange sound for 16/18 fairways in regulation (average)

I purchased the FT-i with a DRAW, and I'm very satisfied with the results. Body positioning is crucial to learning how to hit the FT-i. Once I found that standing a half-step away from teeing off --I made almost every drive land in the fairway. This club will add an easy 30-yards to your stroke, and the ball will stay straight like it's magnetized to the fairway. One negative comment: The piercing ping is comparable to that of an aluminum bat.

Best driver that I have ever purchased. Last year I bought the FT-i 11 degree version to help me better control my hook. I was very impressed how the ball hit the face of the driver and maintained a straighter flight path in the air. It does not make the ball go straight it makes it go straighter. With the help of taking golf lessons to improve my overall game, this driver has kept me in the fairway and not out of bounds better than any driver I have used before. The ball may not go as far with this driver

Hello, I understand most drivers come in a 10.5 and 9.5 degree loft. I use a 10.5. When teeing off, my ball usually has a lot of loft and goes really high in the air, should I switch to a 9.5 degree

Thank you for your question. Is it worth testing out? Absolutely. Will the 9.5 give you a more penetrating ball flight is the question. Most golfers would kill to have more hang time but I know how you feel. I was in the same boat at one time and tested different lofts much like you. I ended up staying with the higher loft though. The higher loft will also be more controllable of the tee..

If you are not a low handicap golfer, where you play can make a lot of difference in driver loft choices. In the northern US. especially on the plains, wind can be a huge factor in driver loft effect. We have 160 yd par 3's where 10/12 handicap golfers are using drivers straight into a 35 mph wind. I use a 9.5 TM Burner draw. But I have a Titlist 10.5 I take to Phoenix (low or no wind) and FL (tree lined courses). High trajectory on windy links courses can really beat you up with a high loft. //

my avg swing speed is about 80 to 90 . what would be the best Shaft Flex for me

You're definitely a regular flex Senior flex starts from 70-80 Regular is from 80 to about 100 Stiff 100 to 115ish X-stiff 115+

I have used the YS-6 shaft in the 905T and the FT-i with pretty good success. Can you name me a couple other shafts that you think would give me the same "feel" and control? Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry. There are a few other brands that have similar weight and launch profiles of the Graphite Design YS series. You should notice that the Aldila NVS 65, the Graphalloy ProLaunch 65, the UST V2 67, and the Fujikura E360 are all very comparable.

i have the graphalloy prolaunch 65 and it works great!is is very flexible.

The FT-i uses a stock Speeder shaft that is 45.75 inchest;. For the mid to high handicap golfer, isn't that extra length over 45inches difficult to handle?

I currently use a Proforce regular shaft with a stiff tip. What shaft should I be using. My swing speed is probably between 95-98

Thank you for your inquiry. The UST ProForce V2 is a great shaft for stability. The low torque will minimize the amount of twisting in the head on off center impact which will result in straighter drives. Your club head speed is in the range where you can swing either stiff or regular if wanted. You may notice added distance in regular flex while seeing a slighter higher level of control with the stiffer flex. That clubhead speed is considered to be high enough for an extra stiff. Typically speaking, anyone who can swing their driver 105+ should be in extra stiff.

which shaft is better between regular and stiff

Great Question. Everything is subjective to your swing though. Do you tend to swing slower or more quickly? The rule of thumb is that if your swing speed is slower than 95mph then you should probably get a regular flex driver and if your swing is over 100mph then you should probably get a stiff flex driver. That leaves a little grey area that you from 95 to 100 where you can use either flex. I hope this helps.
