Product Description

The Callaway Golf X Series is about giving serious golfers exceptional performance with plenty of forgiveness for the ultimate in confidence. The new Callaway X-20 Irons deliver by offering advanced technology, innovation and playability that will take your game to a new level. Using the Progressive Wall Reduction System, Callaway Golf has lowered the center of gravity (CG)of the X-20 Irons 6 percent more than in the X-18 Irons. Progressive Wall Reduction means the CG gets progressively lower throughout the set. The CG is lowest in the long irons, helping you get the ball airborne more easily. With its traditional styling and Callaway Golf core technologies, the X-20 Irons provide the performance and forgiveness to play the game with enhanced confidence.

  • Callaway Golf X-20 irons offer serious golfers complete performance with enhanced forgiveness
  • Callaway Golf engineers lowered the CG 6 percent more than in the X-18 irons
  • The CG is lowest in the long irons to assist in getting the ball airborne easily

Callaway Golf X-20 Iron Set user reviews
easy to be straight 3/28/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I have played Callaway Clubs over the past years. Played Big Bertha's and X-14's even tried the X-Tours, but these X-20's are so easy to swing and hit. Even the poor swings are making good progress and the GOOD SWINGS make GREAT SHOTS. THANK YOU CALLOWAY FOR THESE IRONS!!

Callaway X 20 Irons 3/26/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I bought a set last week, 4 through approach wedge. I played my first roung last Wed.and shot a 76. I previously had Hogan CFT's, forged. These clubs are great, I like the feel and look of the irons and the distances are equivalent to the Hogans. I bought the Fusion Driver and 3 wood about 4 months ago and have never hit a driver longer. I even got $140 trade-in on my Hogans which were three years old and in good shape. First time I have had Callaway clubs, well pleased. randy in Bonney Lake

Callaway X-20 Irons 3/19/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I didn't realize I was hitting the wrong irons until I purchased these! The perimeter weighting, lite shaft, and cool grips really made a total package upgrade for my game. The offset of these irons really corrected that dreaded fade....

According to your height standard length is fine. Depending on the length of your arms however you may be fit to 1/4 short with the lie angle bent to a degree flat. You may want to pay a visit to your local pro and get a proper fitting to make sure.

Does anyone know what make of shaft Callaway uses in their X-20 irons? Are they Callaway proprietary, Grafalloy, Aldia, etc? Thanks!!!

Thank you for your question. The shaft is a proprietary high launch shaft made by True Temper.

I keep reading about length of shaft, measuring wrist to floor, I am short, so what does this measurement tell me and how do I apply it to shaft length

Thank you for your question in regard to shaft lengths. The measurement from wrist to floor will determine which length you will need your shaft set at. Typically, shorter golfer will need their irons/woods cut down in order to maximize proper impact. Please determine the length of your arm from wrist to floor from a standing upright position with your arms at your side and I can determine the optimal length for you.

Also your wrist to floor measurement will determine what lie angle you need. I'm 5'3" and I needed my clubs flattened 3 degrees from standard! Look into it!
