I have the Hibore driver and expected the same results to apply with the fairway wood (13*). I was disappointed with the result and the orginal 13* launcher still performs better. I upgraded the orginal fairway wood with a pro-sixty series fujikura (s) and still performs better than the hibore 13*. It requires a certain swing angle to utilize the the design advantage. The head has an inverted geometry design which makes a difference with the driver but the smaller fairway wood head does not translate the same way.

Great Question. The answer is both! They go hand in hand together. That's why so many companies taught High Launch clubs or balls. More carry, etc.....More height should translate into more distance. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Play Well, Johnny
