Everyone get obsessed with cleveland and vokey wedges... and I'm here to tell you that the callaway wedges are better. I have the 56 and it is the best wedge I have ever used. I have always had a love-hate relationship with all of my wedges before this one. From the fairway, rough, hardpan, or sand it does not matter put a half decent pass on the ball and get more than decent results. It is very easy to hit the high flops, knockdowns, chips, pitches, or just a regular shot. Craig, the lofts needed to fill your gaps will differ according to the loft of your irons. A stronger set of irons will need stronger wedges. For example: if your PW is 45 degree you will want your gap wedge near 50 degree with a sand at 54 and the lob at 58. You will always want your gap and lob wedges to have lower bounce while your sand wedge has higher bounce. The lower bounce is better for "harder" surfaces ie compact sand while the higher bounce is great for "softer" lies ie fluffy white s
