Q
Looking for a high spin rate with a 90 swing speed.
Q
thinkn about moven to nikey ball was playn prov 1 wat nike ball has same feel as it
A
Hi, thanks for the question. I would suggest the Nike One Tour D. It is also a 3 piece ball, and it has a similar compression. -Parker
Q
I'm a60, play a lot, but don't have the swing speed of back in the day. Is the Nike One Tour a bad choice?
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The Nike One Tour has the higher compression of a tour ball. You may find that you get more distance out of the Nike Power Distance Soft. This has a lower compression than the One Tour. -Parker

Q
What new ball is replacing the Nike One Black?
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The Nike One Black became the Nike One Tour D. -Parker
Q
Which new Nike ball is replacing the Platium One? I was told it was the Nike One Tour. Is this correct? Please advise. Thank you for your time and attention.
A
The new Nike One Tour is composed very similarly to the One Platinum. You are correct.
Q
Can I get a box of Nike One Tour balls all with a single number - all 12 balls are number 3?
A
Hi, thanks for the inquiry. I am sorry, but we cannot break up the dozens and give all one number. -Parker
Q
Are the overrun balls new balls?
A
Yes
A
Yes, overruns are brand new balls direct from the manufacturer.
Q
Looking for a good ball. My swing speed is around 93 and usually hit straight with occasional slice. Looking for little distance and more control around the green. handicap 6-9
A
The platinum is softer and spins more. The one tour is slightly firmer but provides optimal feel and more distance.
Q
What are the differences between the Nike One Tour and the Nike One Platinum?
A
Hi, thanks for your question. These balls are very similar considering they are both 4 piece. The platinum is just last years version of the Tour. -Parker
A
The Tour One is 4 piece, and the Tour One D is 3 piece. These balls are not very similar, and play differently. I don't know where Parker gets his info from, but his answer is incorrect and irresponsible in that he is responding on behalf of Golfballs.com ! Credibility of these answers: not much!
A
To Rick...
Don't critisize Parker. Your the one with the incorrect info. Read the question!!He's asking about the platinum vs the tour...
Q
Which Nike ball would be right for someone that hits them long (no need to added speed) but needs more control.
A
Of the Nike Tour balls, the Tour D is the ball you would need.
Q
ive, always watched the pros beable to hit an iron, have it land next to the hole, and have it either stop, ir come back. when ever i hit an iron it, hits and runs 20 ft. how do i get backspin?
A
Backspin is generated every time you make proper impact with the ball. Mishits spin but at a much slower pace. Most golfers do not generate enough club head speed nor do they make such precise impact that maximize spin. It doesnt hurt to use a high spin golf ball such as the tour inspired balls (Titleist Pro V1, Callaway Tour i, Srixon Z-Star, Bridgestone B330)
Q
Which golf ball has the softest cover
A
Granted that is an individual feel question but I'd give the honor to the Srixon Z-Star, Bridgestone B330.S and Titleist Pro V1 are a few.
Any other thoughts out there?
Thanks.
Q
The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.
A
Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.
A
Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.
A
Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
A
A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!!

Q
Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
A
Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
Q
Why don't more ball manuf. indicate if the covering is urathane, I am looking for some by I never know what I'm buying, they don't seem to be bothered listing Surlyn covering? Can you tell me how I ca
A
Excellent question.
Nowadays so many balls aren't classified as having a "urethane" cover but more now classified under their own brand name cover. But please be sure and review ball descriptions as many of them do have the cover named in the description.
Thanks,
Johnny
A
The Bridgestone E6+ has a urethane cover. Check it out.
Q
What does overrun mean? Is the ball still new and true? thank you
A
Thank you for your question.
A Logo Overrun is a New golf ball that has a company logo or personalization on it already. Logo Overruns have some of the best deals that you can find on golf balls period.
Please let me know if I may be of any other assistance.

Q
What is the downside of using balls fished out of water? Can an otherwise perfect ball become water-logged?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is a perfect question for a company that started out selling used golf balls! Really there is only one down side; the length of time the ball spent in the water. If it's one that has been in the water for months then it stands a much better chance to become "out of round" so that the performance of the golf ball is compromised. This is rare due to the fact that used golf ball retriever is a big time business and ponds/lakes have balls fished out of them
Q
I'm new to golfing and was recommended to buy Wilson Ultra Ultimate Distance Golf Balls (pack of 15). Great balls but each pack of three balls has a different number on it: 1,2,3,4 and 5. What does th
A
Thank you for your question.
It's nothing more than a simple number system developed in case golfers in the same group are using the same golf ball. This way those golfer could use different numbered golf balls and be able to identify their golf ball easily.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Hey I was wondering how does the Nike One Tour compare to last years Nike One Platinum. I looked forever for the perfect golfball to suit my game. I finally found it in the Platinum 2008. So therefore
A
Thank you for your question.
I don't think you'll find that big of a difference. I'd also mention that you may be able to track down and load up on some of the 2008 Platinum at a good price.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
What is a moderate swingspeed? My driver speed is around 100, 95 to 104 is this moderate, slow or what?
A
Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Moderate club head speeds are closer to the 85-90 MPH speed zone. Anything 100+ would be considered high. Thanks. Andy
Q
In this new age of high-tech golf balls, how long can they be stored in climate controlled environment and still be 100% effective? Thanks Eddy
A
Thank you for your question Eddy.
If you store golf balls in a climate controlled environment there really is an unlimited shelf life. At least this is what I'm told after speaking with a few major brands who make golf balls.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
Can I get 4 intials on the ID align?
Thanks,
Nick
A
Nick,
Thanks for your question. Right now we can not pull that one off. Our machine is specifically set up for 3 or less. Anything more falls outside of our printing parameter and you wouldn't see the whole line.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can I have a personalization done on more than one side?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is not a problem at all. The charge for what's called a "two-pole" print would be an extra $5 on top of the personalized ball price. You would need to call us to place this order as this would be a custom order. You may reach us at 1-800-372-2557.

Johnny
Q
If I buy two Bridgestone Treo Soft and get $6.00 shipping it comes to $44. on logo overruns. I can buy new ones @ $21.95 so how am I saving?
A
Mr. Mazzone,
Thank you for your question.
Where is the value? 1) Not spending the gas to go to the store to purchase golf balls 2) You are not charged sales tax on your order which to purchase locally would push you over the $44 threshold. 3) Convenience - 24 hour shopping
I hope you would view these as a few reasons to consider purchasing online vs. purchasing at a retail store.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I may be of any other service.
Sincerely,
Q
Am I able to purchase 4 dozen of balls, each with a differant personalization?
A
Absolutely,
You will need to add the Pro V1 - Personalized four different times on your order to be able to personalize each dozen individually.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can the font size used be larger? I was disappointed it was so small the last time I ordered.
A
Thank you for your question.
You may certainly request this. During checkout there is a space to add "additional comments." Please make your request there. But also please note that the being able to enlarge your personalization is based upon 1) there being a limited amount of text that you want on the ball 2) knowing that we have a limited amount of space to print on.
If you max out all three lines with text then we would have no room to grow, so to speak.
I hope this helps and pleas
Q
1.Why don't ball manufacturer's put the compression of the ball on the box.?
2. How many dimples designs are there on golf balls.?
Thank you.
Jim.
A
Jim,
Thanks for your question. Golf Ball Manufacturer aren't required to put a compression on a golf ball and many of them don't want to be segmented by giving that information. In regards to dimple designs there are multiple dimple designs on golf balls and there is also not set number as to how many dimples a golf ball will have. It varies on every golf ball.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Q
How would you store golf balls is it ok to store them at room temp in your house. And can beening in the cool hurt them
A
Thank you for your question.
Storing golf balls at room temp in your house is ideal. In regards to storing golf balls in cold temperatures or hot temps for that matter, temperature will eventually have an effect on a golf ball but only after a long period of time. Moral of the story, try not to store golf balls in your trunk! I'm guilty of that one!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
It seems every year the ball manufacturers play around with ball specs. During the past year I've had success with the Top Flight Gamer as a ball with playability comparable to the Pro V1 & V1x a
A
Thank you for your comments, and you're right it certainly does feel that way. I can't tell you how many calls or emails we receive stating that just when you get used to playing a certain ball they change it! It's enough to drive your crazy! For a golf ball manufacturer it's about doing their best to keep their product relevant and fresh. That is why their product gets tweaked every 1-2 years.
While I feel your pain I don't think there is anything we can do about it!
Please let me kno
