Q
My swing speed is between 105-110mph. I like the Bridgestone e-7's. Would the B330 RX's be better for me. I normaly shot in the mid 90's. When I hit the ball bad it slices pretty good on me. so would
A
In your case the B330-RX is not exactly the right ball. The RX will spin a little more causing that slice to increase and with your clubhead speed the higher compression of the e7 will not hurt you. The e7 will keep your ball flight down vs the RX as well. Both balls are really good, I just dont think the RX will make your game better for the price difference.
Q
I like the Callaway HX hot for its high trajectory, but don't like its lack of spin shots around the green. Which ball(s) have the HX hot trajectory but more spin on the greens?
A
Henry, a few of the balls mentioned here have your desired trajectory and still maintain a high ball flight.
1. Callaway HX Hot Bite.-has a high ball flight and maintains its stability in the wind. This ball also has a LOT of Bite on short shots around the green.
2. Srixon Z star X- on the more expensive side, but well worth the cash. Also, has a high trajectory, and tons of spin around the greens.
P.S. Many urethane covered balls have a lot of spin. If you are ok with sacrificing a fe
A
Hi, thanks for your question. I agree with Aaron on this one. The Hx Hot bite would be the best option for you if you already like the Hx Hot. Also, the Hx Bite is the new version and will be out in the Spring. -Parker
Q
I am 70 years old and use Tileist dt roll, will i get more distance with my drive if i use the bridgestone 330 rx Im hitting the tileist ball 210 yards.
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The Bridgestone B330rx has a lower compression, so if your swing is slower you should be able to compress this ball and get a little more distance. Play well, Parker.

Q
I am looking for a ball that may give me a lower trajectory. Especially off the tee.
My swing speed is probably in the mid 80s.
Handicap is 12.
Thanks
Q
my swing speed is 95mph approx,my handicap is single diget 4-6.always use pro-v,is my swing speed to slow to compress core, i really like control and spin, feel ect.is there a better ball for me to use
A
Hi, thanks for the question. Your swing speed fits the threshold required to compress the Prov1. The srixon z-star is comparable to the Prov1 with its spin and feel, and it is a slightly lower compression. You should be fine with the Prov1, but you may want to try the lower compression. -Parker
Q
WHAT IS THE BEST BALL FOR OLDER GOLFERS WITH A HIGHER HANDICAP
A
Hi, thanks for your question. I would suggest the Nike Power Distance Long. It has a lower compression that will allow you to gain some distance. -Parker
Q
Have played PeoV's for quite a while. Now in my mid 60's and losing swing speed. Looking for a good alternative.
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The Srixon Z-star is a lower compression that is comparable. Give it a try, you should find it to your liking. -Parker
Q
my swing speed is around 80 mph. i have a low trajectory swng but straight. would the e5 bridgestone ball give me a higher trajectory and distance then the rx ball and half the cost.?
A
The e5+ is a much higher compression so while you may pick up some spin you will most likely not see your distance increase off the tee. The spin rates of the RX are comparable to the e5+ and you will see the lower compression of the RX add yards to your drives.
Q
Are these balls B330rx 90 compression What comprssionare they?
A
Hi, thanks for your question. The B330-RX has a compression of 76. -Parker
Q
I have heard the B330 RX is a terrific ball for amateurs. But all the references are for moderate swing speeds. What is that? My swing speed is around 80, is that considered moderate? Or should I look
A
Moderate is considered to be near 90 MPH. If you are looking for the control of a tour ball this is best option you will find for your swing given the amount of compression you will be able to force on the ball. This is the best performance ball of its class.
Q
What is the actual compression of these balls? 70? 80?
A
I saw a review by golfballselector.com. It stated that the measured compression is 85, which they went on to mention, is 10 points below the pro v1. To let you know I'm not a subscriber to that site or that service. regards, john
A
Hi thanks for the question. After tests we have found that the compression of this golf ball is 76. It is a lower compression ball made for more amateur swing speeds.
Q
Okay I really like the treo, what is the difference in the rx and the treo. I have a moderate swing speed and I'm getting older. thanks Denise
A
The main difference between the TreoSoft and The Bridgestone B330-RX is the cover. The B330 is made a polyurethane that is great for increased spin and ball control where the TreoSoft is made of an ionomer blend Surlyn designed for low spin and soft feel.
Q
Mod club head speed , stiff shafts age 60- best 3 pc ball for feel and distance?
A
Thank you for your inquiry, the B330 RX is an excellent golf ball for feel, control, and distance. Being the only 70 compression urethane golf ball the B330-RX should be the ball of choice for all amatuers with moderate head speeds that are consistent ball strikers.
A
You want this ball if you prefer to spin the ball around the green.
Q
I am a first time user of the330rx bought 3of them I am a8hcap i have play 36 holds with the same ball when will it start to lose distance ted
A
Ted,
Thank you for your question.
To be honest, the RX is one of the hottest golf balls in golf. From a quality standpoint it's at the top of the line. If you haven't put it up against a cart path or tree it could still stand to go quite a few more holes. I can't tell you when you'll see a drop off in distance with the ball. I think it's more dependent upon where you hit it!
Play Well,
Johnny
A
Ted, 8 hcp? more like 18! You'll lose the ball first!
Q
The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.
A
Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.
A
Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.
Q
My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.
A
Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
Q
How can one measure swing speed ? I am a 57 yr. old male and generally shoot in the high 70's to low 80's . I have used Titleist balls for years .
A
Thank you for your question.
You would need to visit a local golf course or retail store that has a launch monitor on hand. If they do have one then they would have the capability to give you that information.

Johnny
Q
Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
A
Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
Q
Why don't more ball manuf. indicate if the covering is urathane, I am looking for some by I never know what I'm buying, they don't seem to be bothered listing Surlyn covering? Can you tell me how I ca
A
Excellent question.
Nowadays so many balls aren't classified as having a "urethane" cover but more now classified under their own brand name cover. But please be sure and review ball descriptions as many of them do have the cover named in the description.
Thanks,
Johnny
A
The Bridgestone E6+ has a urethane cover. Check it out.
Q
What is the compression of the Bridgstone RX
A
Thank you for your question.
The ball compression on the B330-RX is 70. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
What does overrun mean? Is the ball still new and true? thank you
A
Thank you for your question.
A Logo Overrun is a New golf ball that has a company logo or personalization on it already. Logo Overruns have some of the best deals that you can find on golf balls period.
Please let me know if I may be of any other assistance.

Q
What is the downside of using balls fished out of water? Can an otherwise perfect ball become water-logged?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is a perfect question for a company that started out selling used golf balls! Really there is only one down side; the length of time the ball spent in the water. If it's one that has been in the water for months then it stands a much better chance to become "out of round" so that the performance of the golf ball is compromised. This is rare due to the fact that used golf ball retriever is a big time business and ponds/lakes have balls fished out of them
Q
I'm new to golfing and was recommended to buy Wilson Ultra Ultimate Distance Golf Balls (pack of 15). Great balls but each pack of three balls has a different number on it: 1,2,3,4 and 5. What does th
A
Thank you for your question.
It's nothing more than a simple number system developed in case golfers in the same group are using the same golf ball. This way those golfer could use different numbered golf balls and be able to identify their golf ball easily.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
I would like to order Bridgestone B330RX balls with BRUCE on two poles in black Ariel font. How do I order this?
Thanks,
Bruce Barrington
A
Bruce,
Thank you for your question. You would need to call us at 1-800-372-2557 to process this request as it's a "special" order. The cost involved would be $5 on top of the Free Personalization right now. The Free Personalization is for one print per dozen.
Please let me know if I may be of any other assistance.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
I have I 100 plus swing speed. Should I use the B330 RX?
A
Thank you for your question.
While you certainly can try it and may love what it can do for you the B330.S and the B330 probably suit your swing speed specs better.
I hope this helps,
Johnny
Q
If i buy 2 dozen RX logo overruns does that qualify for the buy 2 dozen and get the free windbreaker? Thanks
A
Thank you for your question.
I'm sorry but Logo Overruns do not qualify for the Free Windbreaker promotion. Stock, Personalized, ID Align and Photo are eligible.

Q
What is a moderate swingspeed? My driver speed is around 100, 95 to 104 is this moderate, slow or what?
A
Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Moderate club head speeds are closer to the 85-90 MPH speed zone. Anything 100+ would be considered high. Thanks. Andy
Q
In this new age of high-tech golf balls, how long can they be stored in climate controlled environment and still be 100% effective? Thanks Eddy
A
Thank you for your question Eddy.
If you store golf balls in a climate controlled environment there really is an unlimited shelf life. At least this is what I'm told after speaking with a few major brands who make golf balls.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
Can I get 4 intials on the ID align?
Thanks,
Nick
A
Nick,
Thanks for your question. Right now we can not pull that one off. Our machine is specifically set up for 3 or less. Anything more falls outside of our printing parameter and you wouldn't see the whole line.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can I have a personalization done on more than one side?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is not a problem at all. The charge for what's called a "two-pole" print would be an extra $5 on top of the personalized ball price. You would need to call us to place this order as this would be a custom order. You may reach us at 1-800-372-2557.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
If I buy two Bridgestone Treo Soft and get $6.00 shipping it comes to $44. on logo overruns. I can buy new ones @ $21.95 so how am I saving?
A
Mr. Mazzone,
Thank you for your question.
Where is the value? 1) Not spending the gas to go to the store to purchase golf balls 2) You are not charged sales tax on your order which to purchase locally would push you over the $44 threshold. 3) Convenience - 24 hour shopping
I hope you would view these as a few reasons to consider purchasing online vs. purchasing at a retail store.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I may be of any other service.
Sincerely,
Q
Am I able to purchase 4 dozen of balls, each with a differant personalization?
A
Absolutely,
You will need to add the Pro V1 - Personalized four different times on your order to be able to personalize each dozen individually.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can the font size used be larger? I was disappointed it was so small the last time I ordered.
A
Thank you for your question.
You may certainly request this. During checkout there is a space to add "additional comments." Please make your request there. But also please note that the being able to enlarge your personalization is based upon 1) there being a limited amount of text that you want on the ball 2) knowing that we have a limited amount of space to print on.
If you max out all three lines with text then we would have no room to grow, so to speak.
I hope this helps and pleas
Q
1.Why don't ball manufacturer's put the compression of the ball on the box.?
2. How many dimples designs are there on golf balls.?
Thank you.
Jim.
A
Jim,
Thanks for your question. Golf Ball Manufacturer aren't required to put a compression on a golf ball and many of them don't want to be segmented by giving that information. In regards to dimple designs there are multiple dimple designs on golf balls and there is also not set number as to how many dimples a golf ball will have. It varies on every golf ball.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Jjohnny
Q
How would you store golf balls is it ok to store them at room temp in your house. And can beening in the cool hurt them
A
Thank you for your question.
Storing golf balls at room temp in your house is ideal. In regards to storing golf balls in cold temperatures or hot temps for that matter, temperature will eventually have an effect on a golf ball but only after a long period of time. Moral of the story, try not to store golf balls in your trunk! I'm guilty of that one!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
It seems every year the ball manufacturers play around with ball specs. During the past year I've had success with the Top Flight Gamer as a ball with playability comparable to the Pro V1 & V1x a
A
Thank you for your comments, and you're right it certainly does feel that way. I can't tell you how many calls or emails we receive stating that just when you get used to playing a certain ball they change it! It's enough to drive your crazy! For a golf ball manufacturer it's about doing their best to keep their product relevant and fresh. That is why their product gets tweaked every 1-2 years.
While I feel your pain I don't think there is anything we can do about it!
Please let me kno
Q
i was woundering if you guys ship to apo's cause we do like to play a little golf over here in iraq but no where sells golfballs or clubs so i was wounderin if you could help us out
A
yes, we do ship to APO addresses.
Q
What do you think of the B330 RX as a ladies' ball. I have an 18 handicap. Presently use the Calloway Pearl. Laura
A
Laura, the Bridgestone Tour B330-RX is designed for any gender golfer that fits the swing profile. The ball is a 70 compression ball designed for swing speeds less than 100 MPH. Higher club head speeds will tend to generate too much spin causing distance loss of the tee. If you fit into this category, then you should be successful playing this ball.
Q
50 yr old with physical handicap that has slowed my swing and raised my score. Still shooting low 80s but feel I need more from my ball. Need distance without losing driver control or greenside contr
A
thank you for your inquiry. the Bridgestone Tour B330.rx is the ideal ball for your situation and performance needs. The 70 compression will allow you club head speed to get the most out of this golf ball than any other tour ball on the market. The urethane cover will provide you with the ball control you desire and the composition of the core will allow your club head speed to generate enough power to add yards to your tee shots. you are making a great choice with this golf ball.
Q
I am a 63 year old with a 2 handicap. Age has shortened my swing and thus distance. Is the B330-RX the best for me with less than 100 mph swing speed but very dependent upon spin for short game
A
Yes actually, the Bridgestone Tour B330.RX is the perfect ball to suit your game. The lower compression will help to increase your distance and the spin generated from the soft urethane cover will give the greenside control you need.
Q
What is the best bridgstone ball for the senior with a low impact swing and a high handicap. I just bought a dozon 5+ should I turn them in for a different ball. Ron (Redmond,Or)
A
Ron, from what it sounds like you need a higher spinning ball to stay airborne longer. The e5+ or the B.330 RX would be the best options available in this brand.
