Nike One Black Golf Balls user reviews
Excellent feeling and great balance of distance and spin 11/28/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I'm not the lowest shooter but since playing with these I always hit the green on my par 3's. I know that I miss the center of the iron sometimes but this thing still hits the green. I had tried the older ONE Black before and didn't like it much but these new ones with the red ring feel and perform way better.

Nike One Black Logo golf balls A- 10/6/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I received these logo golf balls at a golf tournament as a gift for playing. I usually play with the Titleist balls and I have to say these logo golf balls suprised me. Although this golf ball is for distance I was still able to spin the ball. I plan on playing with Nike One blacks more often.

Great Ball !!!!!!! 6/20/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
I played this for the first time a few weeks ago and will play it from now on. You can't beat the distance and controll of this ball. Good bye V1 and hello Nike Black.... Now I see why Tiger uses Nike instead of Pro V1... ODII

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
