Gamer's got game.... 6/22/2009
Handicap 6 - 10
Bought these balls as I was getting tired of losing more expensive balls at my home course (narrow fairways, dense woods). Must say was pleasantly suprised, balls stopped as well as the more expensive Callaways I was playing, no loss of distance. Feel great off the all the clubs.

Good Ball, Great Price 6/1/2009
Handicap 10 - 15
After reading the review in Golf Digest, I decided to give this ball a try. I maintained the distance I was getting, but got more feel and backspin around the green. It helped me to check up on the green instead of running off the back.

great ball 5/22/2009
Handicap 10 - 15
I used this ball in my high school confrence championship, and i shot my best tournament score, earning medalist honors with a +6 78 as a freshman being only 5 foot 3. the ball has great feel and distance. it does tend to scuff on mid/short irons but the overall performance is comparable with golf balls 25-40$

Scuffs too easily 5/13/2009
Handicap 20-30
The ball has a nice feel to it however the outside cover scuffs too easily for my taste. Short irons take a toll on the ball in a hurry. I play a round of golf with one ball , I end up throwing it in my shag bag because I see no sense in using it again due to its condition. Other than the cover, the ball performs well.

Gamer OK 5/11/2009
Handicap 6 - 10
Not as much spin as better 3 piece balls. Otherwise, good value for the price. No difference in distance or scores but a satisfactory feeling ball.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in climate controled area the is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not becuase the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controlable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
