Taylor Made's Tour Preferred Black Golf Ball 10/7/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
The Taylor Made TP Black golf ball is a sure win in any bag. Its designed for the lower-spin player. Taylor Made has LDP technology, Low-Drag Performance, that gives the TP Black ball the ability to expand your sweetspot. LDP forgives off-center hits by delivering added lift to keep the ball airborne. Balls with LDP boast improved distance on the most common driver off-center hits compared to balls without LDP. The Taylor Made TP Black golf ball will surely provide you with the extra yards you are look
Good ball for a custom logo 10/13/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
For anyone looking for a top quality ball to put a custom logo on, I say you've found it. They are more durable than some other comparable balls, and you'll save a few bucks per dozen using this logo golf ball in a tournament diddy bag.

BEST TAYLORMADE EVER!!! 9/19/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
This ball is awesome off the tee. LONG LONG drives, easy to control spin and distance from fairways. I have an arsenal of Miura Wedges that have sharp grooves, just tears this ball to shreds. Def. lacks durabilty. But may help low-mid handicappers cut a few strokes off the scorecard.

GREAT BALL.....OK durability 7/23/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
The ball is great off the tee and from the fairway. i smash this ball. but when you get inside a 100yds......this is wear the durability is slacking. i use a spin milled Vokey and it peels little flakes of the cover off. the ball is great. i get a tremendous amount of spin. but i need more durability. But i would recomend this ball to low - mid handicappers.

Best ball for the money??? How bout best ball period! 5/8/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
Great off the tee with no balloon action. Offcenter hits are still long. Solid "chew" on low irons and around the green. And the best thing about it....super super durable!!!! ProV1, ProV1x, Tour ix are great balls, but 50 bucks a dozen for half the durability. Long time Titleist ball designer and expert left titleist and went to taylormade to create this best golf ball period. Did they??? I think they did.

I've been playing golf for over 40 years and my handicap has been as low as a 6. Now that I'm in my mid-60's I'm sure my swing has slowed somewhat so should I consider switching to a ball more suitab

Hi, thanks for the question. The brand of ball that you use is not so important as the compression. Switching to a lower compression ball would prove to be beneficial to you most likely. -Parker

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.
