Q
Played the e6+ last weekend-very impressed. How does it stack up in tests for distance and spin, to the Titliest top balls
A
The e6 ball is one of the better low compression distance balls out there. Very soft feel with low driver spin to promote long and accurate drives. The most comparable Titleist ball to the e6 will be the NXT Extreme. Both are similarly structured from core to cover and near the same compression. If you are trying to compare to a tour ball, the materials are simply not up to the same standard. Bridgestones tour ball series (B330/s/RX) are some of the most advanced available to the market.
Q
Does the e6+ come in high numbers?
A
Hi, thanks for the question. I am sorry, but the E6+ is not available in high numbers. -Parker
Q
how does the callaway HX-Hot compare to the Bridgestone e6+? Also the Srixon soft-feel to the e6+?
A
The HX-Hot and e6 balls are similar in composition and in performance testing but the e6 is a little easier to compress. The 65 compression of the e6 makes is softer than the 75 compression HX-Hot+. The Srixon Soft Feel is a 2 piece ball rather than a 3 piece like the e6 or HX-Hot. The Soft Feel is a 74 compression distance ball. Of the three, the e6 ball is the most advanced.

Q
I play the DT SOLO titleist ball Cant buy any more. SS 84mph score high 80 to mid 90. what should i try. I like the soft feel of the solo. but would like a little more distenc
A
Hi, the Dt carry is very similar to the Solo. Also, Titleist is going to release the Dt Solo again in the spring of 2010. -PArker
Q
I saw an advertizement for Bridgestone balls and I noticed the box for the e6+ was different and only had e6 on it. You haven't discontinued the e6+ have you?
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The E6 came out before the E6+; however, Bridgestone's new version that will be out next year is the new E6. The packaging is new and improved, but the makeup of the ball is quite similar. The E6 will not have as high trajectory of the E5+, but will offer soft and straight attributes like the E6+. -Parker
Q
Are there any differences between these and the Bridgestone e5+ golfballs
A
Yes, The e5+ is 2 piece ball with a urethane cover. I think it is the only urethane covered 2 piece ball on the market. According to Bridgestone the e5+ is designed for players that have a low ball flight and need a higher trajectory for more distance
Q
Hi, I found a e6 golf ball the other day, and I get the longest drive by fifty yards over my partner. how do you rate them to the pro v1 s thankyou
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The E6 has a much lower compression than the Prov1. This will allow you to be able to compress it with a slower swing speed. -Parker
Q
Has Golfballs.com tested the compression rating of the e6+? I think it's the ball for me but with a 111MPH swing, I want to make sure the compression rating fits my game. What's the compression of th
A
The e6+ came back with an average compression of 65. Based upon the sell through on this ball it's a ball for everyone!
Play Well.
Q
what does Logo overrun mean ? an imperfection ?
A
Overrun simply means that the ball has a random logo or imprint on the golf ball. In many cases our overruns do not even have printing they are just packaged in non stock packaging. All overrun balls are brand new and are in perfect condition.
Q
you responded to my question but which b330. Before the e6+ was also using prov1-x.Bridegstone advised that the e6+ was the better ball for my swing speed and spin rates through there swing analysis.
A
Hi, thanks for your question. I believe Andy was referring to the Tour B330. This will give you better control and all around playability. - Parker
Q
can you put the US Marine logo on the e6+ ball
A
Hi, thanks for your question. Typically, copyrighted images can not be printed, but this image should be fine. If you upload it onto a photoball, there will be no minimum. -Parker
Q
I want to purchase a couple dozen Bridgestone balls with the Virginia Tech (VT)logo. Do you have that logo in stock?
A
Thanks for your question. I am sorry but at this time we do not have any bridgestone balls with the collegiate logos. We do have callaway and titleist however. -Parker
Q
have a driver speed or approx 110. Am using the bridgestone e6+. Really like the ball but would like to try something else. Have a 3 handicap in league and am 46. Was interested in the B330-s
A
Thank you for your question. With your club head speed I would suggest the B330. You should be able to control you ball flight to a much greater degree over the e6.
Q
I have a swing speed of 97. Hanidcap of 6. What ball will give me both distance, spin and feel for the money? I am performance driven, not ego driven.
A
Thank you for your question. I do have excellent golf balls that would suit your game needs. Bridgestone Golf offers some of the most advanced golf ball technology on the market today and you will find great success with many of their ball types. The e6+ is great for distance and feel but does not offer great spin control. The e5+ is the markets only 2 piece urethane covered golf ball and will offer you great ball control and greenside feedback. Possibly the best ball for you however would be th
Q
Handicap #6 Age 57 5'9" weight 155 swing speed 95 Currently play Pro V1 any alternative suggestions?
A
I'd give either the Bridgestone B330-RX or the Bridgestone e6+ a shot. I think you'll like both of them.
Q
I have high club head speed [118mph with a driver] and play to a 12 handicap. I liked the Bridgestone E6 the one time I played with it. Went straight and had minimal spin. Is it a ball that was design
A
Thank you for your question, the E6+ is a great low spin distance ball. The one downside is that the ball doesnt hold that well around the greens.
A
i have been playing different balls for a while, maxfli's, top flites generally. i tried the e6+ and fell in love with it. i tend to put a lot of spin on the ball, so i didn't have any problems with holding the greens. the ball has great distance and the cover actually holds up nice.
Q
What type of ball should I be looking for with a high club head speed?
A
Thank you for your question.
I would recommend three balls: 1) Bridgestone Tour B330 2) Titleist Pro V1x 3) Srixon Z-Star
These are all made for higher swing speeds. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
I don't have a question I just wanted to share with you my experience with the Bridgestone e6+ golf ball. There are the best ball I have played. Great feel and distance for my game (23 handicap) but
A
Thanks! keep up the good work!
Q
The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.
A
Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.
A
Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Q
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN E-6 & E-7
A
Thank you for your inquiry, the difference between the Bridgestone E6+ and E7+ is the trajectory promoted. The E7+ will promote a higher ball flight while the E6+ will lower your ball flight. LEt me know if you have any further questions. Thanks, Andy.
Q
My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.
A
Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
A
A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!!

Q
Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
A
Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
Q
Why don't more ball manuf. indicate if the covering is urathane, I am looking for some by I never know what I'm buying, they don't seem to be bothered listing Surlyn covering? Can you tell me how I ca
A
Excellent question.
Nowadays so many balls aren't classified as having a "urethane" cover but more now classified under their own brand name cover. But please be sure and review ball descriptions as many of them do have the cover named in the description.
Thanks,
Johnny
A
The Bridgestone E6+ has a urethane cover. Check it out.
Q
What does overrun mean? Is the ball still new and true? thank you
A
Thank you for your question.
A Logo Overrun is a New golf ball that has a company logo or personalization on it already. Logo Overruns have some of the best deals that you can find on golf balls period.
Please let me know if I may be of any other assistance.

Johnny
Q
What is the downside of using balls fished out of water? Can an otherwise perfect ball become water-logged?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is a perfect question for a company that started out selling used golf balls! Really there is only one down side; the length of time the ball spent in the water. If it's one that has been in the water for months then it stands a much better chance to become "out of round" so that the performance of the golf ball is compromised. This is rare due to the fact that used golf ball retriever is a big time business and ponds/lakes have balls fished out of them
Q
I'm new to golfing and was recommended to buy Wilson Ultra Ultimate Distance Golf Balls (pack of 15). Great balls but each pack of three balls has a different number on it: 1,2,3,4 and 5. What does th
A
Thank you for your question.
It's nothing more than a simple number system developed in case golfers in the same group are using the same golf ball. This way those golfer could use different numbered golf balls and be able to identify their golf ball easily.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
How do I order the free shirt?
A
Simply order two dozen and we'll include all of the paper work so that you can get the free shirt.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
What is a moderate swingspeed? My driver speed is around 100, 95 to 104 is this moderate, slow or what?
A
Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Moderate club head speeds are closer to the 85-90 MPH speed zone. Anything 100+ would be considered high. Thanks. Andy
Q
In this new age of high-tech golf balls, how long can they be stored in climate controlled environment and still be 100% effective? Thanks Eddy
A
Thank you for your question Eddy.
If you store golf balls in a climate controlled environment there really is an unlimited shelf life. At least this is what I'm told after speaking with a few major brands who make golf balls.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
Can I get 4 intials on the ID align?
Thanks,
Nick
A
Nick,
Thanks for your question. Right now we can not pull that one off. Our machine is specifically set up for 3 or less. Anything more falls outside of our printing parameter and you wouldn't see the whole line.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can I have a personalization done on more than one side?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is not a problem at all. The charge for what's called a "two-pole" print would be an extra $5 on top of the personalized ball price. You would need to call us to place this order as this would be a custom order. You may reach us at 1-800-372-2557.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
I am looking for a ball that will help reduce my tendency to slice. I heard the Bridgestone e6+ is a good ball for that. Are there any other balls like the e6+ that will help with a slice?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. To answer your question the E6+ is a very low spin ball which will help reduce your tendancy to slice. Other golf balls in the same class would include the Srixon TriSpeed, the Top-Flite Freak, the Big Bertha Diablo, Titleist DT Roll, and the Taylor Made Noodle+; all of these options should suit you for this need. To order please call 1-800-372-2557! Thanks
Q
If I buy two Bridgestone Treo Soft and get $6.00 shipping it comes to $44. on logo overruns. I can buy new ones @ $21.95 so how am I saving?
A
Mr. Mazzone,
Thank you for your question.
Where is the value? 1) Not spending the gas to go to the store to purchase golf balls 2) You are not charged sales tax on your order which to purchase locally would push you over the $44 threshold. 3) Convenience - 24 hour shopping
I hope you would view these as a few reasons to consider purchasing online vs. purchasing at a retail store.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I may be of any other service.
Sincerely,
Q
Am I able to purchase 4 dozen of balls, each with a differant personalization?
A
Absolutely,
You will need to add the Pro V1 - Personalized four different times on your order to be able to personalize each dozen individually.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can the font size used be larger? I was disappointed it was so small the last time I ordered.
A
Thank you for your question.
You may certainly request this. During checkout there is a space to add "additional comments." Please make your request there. But also please note that the being able to enlarge your personalization is based upon 1) there being a limited amount of text that you want on the ball 2) knowing that we have a limited amount of space to print on.
If you max out all three lines with text then we would have no room to grow, so to speak.
I hope this helps and pleas
Q
1.Why don't ball manufacturer's put the compression of the ball on the box.?
2. How many dimples designs are there on golf balls.?
Thank you.
Jim.
A
Jim,
Thanks for your question. Golf Ball Manufacturer aren't required to put a compression on a golf ball and many of them don't want to be segmented by giving that information. In regards to dimple designs there are multiple dimple designs on golf balls and there is also not set number as to how many dimples a golf ball will have. It varies on every golf ball.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Q
How would you store golf balls is it ok to store them at room temp in your house. And can beening in the cool hurt them
A
Thank you for your question.
Storing golf balls at room temp in your house is ideal. In regards to storing golf balls in cold temperatures or hot temps for that matter, temperature will eventually have an effect on a golf ball but only after a long period of time. Moral of the story, try not to store golf balls in your trunk! I'm guilty of that one!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
It seems every year the ball manufacturers play around with ball specs. During the past year I've had success with the Top Flight Gamer as a ball with playability comparable to the Pro V1 & V1x a
A
Thank you for your comments, and you're right it certainly does feel that way. I can't tell you how many calls or emails we receive stating that just when you get used to playing a certain ball they change it! It's enough to drive your crazy! For a golf ball manufacturer it's about doing their best to keep their product relevant and fresh. That is why their product gets tweaked every 1-2 years.
While I feel your pain I don't think there is anything we can do about it!
Please let me kno
