Titleist NXT Tour Golf Balls user reviews
Wow! 6/23/2009
Handicap 20-30
I love this ball! I Tried using it after i was getting frustrated with my driving game. After using it, hole after hole i added 25+ yards to my drive and eliminated some of the slice. I also added precision to my irons and my wedges. My score significantly dropped, and i recommend this ball to any causal, competitive, beginner,or veteran golfer that wants a great ball, without a very high price.

Titlesit NXT Tour Logo golf balls 10/28/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
We have a tighter promotional budget this year so we ordered the Titleist NXT Tour logo golf balls instead of the Pro V1's and I think they have worked out great! They have good control and distance

Best logo golf ball not named Pro V1 10/23/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
This logo golf ball really is the best ball not named the Pro V1. It has REALLY soft feel around the greens, but doesn't sacrifice distance off the tee. If you want a high quality custom golf ball, but don't want to pay Pro V1 prices this is it.

Best ball I've used for the price 10/14/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
I get all the feel I need and since this game is 90% mental, I don't worry about the ball not doing what I expect it to do.

Great Ball 9/23/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
The Titleist NXT Tour golf balls are great! They provide me decent distance without compromising spin/control around the green. I love how I can personalize them too!!

Less than 10 handicap and high swing speed. Love the soft ball feel near the greens. Playing pro v1's but are there other balls that are just as soft and still more forgiving off the tee and with mo

Thank you for your question. The feel of a Urethane cover is what you are looking for around the greens. Any urethane covered ball is going to boast a high spin rate. There are some very low compression balls that will feel soft but the performance will not meet a tour caliber ball. Give me a call at 1-800-372-2557 and I can do a more thorough analysis of what you need. Thanks, Andy.

Try the Titleist NXT Extreme. The spin rates are considerably lower on that ball type so you should see a lower ball flight. Thanks. Andy

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.
