Product Description

Srixon Z-URS - The Z-URS from Srixon is a high performance, tour caliber golf ball with a balance of spin and distance. Srixon designed the Z-URS for the golfer with a fast swing speed. This 3 piece golf ball offers an incredibly thin urethane cover for high spin and performance on the green. This new formulation provides the ultimate in control-shot shaping spin control, pinpoint distance control and stroke saving short game control. And the best part is that this exceptional control does not come at the expense of distance. That’s because the large Energetic Gradient Growth core provides exceptional ball velocity combined with ideal high launch angle, low spin launch conditions for greater carry and distance. The Z-URS was redesigned to provide a golf ball that had more ball velocity and greenside spin and control without sacrificing the optimal launch conditions of its predecessor.

  • 3 Piece Construction
  • High resilient, thin Ionomer Cover
  • High trajectory 330 dimple configuration
  • Superb soft feel on all shots from tee to green
  • Superb approach iron and greenside spin control
Srixon Z-URS Golf Balls user reviews
Golfballs.com Staff Review: from Chris
Ball of choice 11/28/2007
Handicap 0 - 5
The Z-URS has really opened my eyes as to what a high end ball should do. This ball is long off of the tee with plenty of grab into and around the greens for those delicate shots. Soft feel and excellent durability only add to this ball's appeal. Would definately advise giving this product a test run if you are looking to optimize your game.
Srixon golf logo balls are the best. 10/7/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
I love the Z-URS golf balls. I got some of these logo balls from my boss last week and played with them on Saturday. They offered a soft feel from tee to green that I haven't found in any other ball. We plan on ordering more of these corporate logo golf balls for a tournament we are sponsoring next month.

Shot the best score in 10 years 8/11/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I bought a new driver and the pro shop gave me a sleeve of these balls to "try out." I shot 1 over par and also putted 'lights out" ... the best round I've shot in 10 years. I am impressed with these balls. They had great distance, felt great off my irons and I ptted fantastic. I went out right after the round and bought a dozen of these. Here's to Srixon...the real deal!!!!

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in climate controled area the is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not becuase the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controlable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A

Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
