Bridgestone Tour B330 - Golf Balls user reviews
Golfballs.com Staff Review: from Travis
My ball of choice. 5/22/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
Having been a die-hard ProV1 fan, I was asked to give the B330 a try on my next round. That was six months ago and I haven't played anything else since switching to the Bridgestone B330! I love the ball flight from tee through the green. It stops where you want it to without spinning out of control.
Stops on a Dime! 11/13/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I was wanting to take my game to the next level and get away from the rock hard balls. Tried the Pro V's but game wasn't good enough to afford $5 golf balls. Tried the Bridgestones because a golf salesman swore by them. Told me that if I didn't like them, they he would buy them back from me. I was totally surprised at how quickly I was able to get these balls to stop on the green. Not bad distance off the tee, but knowing that I can throw it closer to the flag and get is to stop is worth the lack in dis

Great for a tournament giveaway 8/26/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
In years past we've used the Pro V1 for our company tournament, but after reading the staff review, I decided to use these logo balls for our tournament. I got some funny looks from our players at first, but after the front nine they realized the Bridgestone B330 custom logo balls were every bit as good as any other ball on the market, if not better.

Bye Bye Pro V1 7/19/2007

Scuff 6/24/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I hit a brand new ball off the tee into the center of the fairway and then an 8 iron onto the green. The ball as almost too scuffed up to play. I played another one off a rocky lie and the ball ended up with a gash in it so bad that it was done. Pretty poor durability, reminds me of the old ballata. I put a "smiley" on one as well. Other than that, it is a great ball. Plan on using a half dozen per round.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
