Bridgestone Tour B330.S - Golf Balls user reviews
I think you have to be a long hitter... 8/29/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
The soft cover is fine around the greens, putts well, good on wedges, but I can't hit this thing out of my shadow! The Bridgestone E6 or regular B330 goes a mile for me, but this B330.S seems shorter than an old balata! I hate to give it terrible rating, because I think a bigger hitter might love it. I suspect you have to have enough clubhead speed to really compress that soft cover before it takes off.

Wrong Focus 8/22/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
i came to this site, and decided to switch to this b-stone just to try it out, i hated it, it was a waste of money, it didn't do anything my current golf ball, the ProV1 didn't do,the ball lacked in feel extremely, but was ok in distance. i was disappointed with this ball. To me those commercials might be true, but for me, it just wasn't gonna happen, i am not switching to a Bridgestone golf ball anytime soon, just stick to making those tires that can run over objects and keep going eh?

Great tires, great golf balls. 4/23/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I also switched from ProV1s to the B330S. My game has improved dramatically in a very short period of time. Hit my first three hundred yard drive. Amazing long and straight off the tee and exceptional bite off my Cleveland wedge. 250 ton commercial jet planes land on Bridgestone tires. I think the chemists and engineers at Bridgestone know their stuff. Try a sleeve, you won't go back to your old golf ball.

Better then ProV1 4/4/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
Since I have started to use these balls I have dropped my handicap from 13 to 9.They provide the same distance as ProV1 off the tee but better workability off the irons and superb spin for chips and bunker shots. Id recommend them for any low-medium handicapper that requires a better overall ball.

Great Tour Quality Ball 9/9/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
Bought the B330-S because I was looking for more feel. This ball has distance, feel, stops on a dime and putts well. Best ball I have played this season.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
