Precept XP3 Yellow 9/20/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I am a visually handicapped golfer ( one eye). During the Fall,Winter, and Spring, when the light rays are low, white is hard to see,in the air and on the ground. The yellow and perhaps others, improves the visibility and location of the balls. This is why many outdoor occupations require colored clothing, to improve their visibility. These balls are a definite asset.

color balls in the summer? 9/10/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I would never recommend a orange ball in the summer or fall months. In England, we only use them when we play in Frosty/snowy conditions. They show up great against the cold white fairways. Unless of course the snow gets too deep and then we retire to the club house for a glass of scotch!

The best ball I have ever played! 7/22/2007
Handicap 20-30
Last week I purchased a box of Percept XP3 Series Golf Balls. In the past I have played Precept Lady S III, Callaway HX Pearl, Volvik Crystal, Titleist DT Solo and most recently Wilson Staff Fifty. Prior to playing with the Percept XP3 I never noticed much difference between balls until this weekend. I just love the Percept XP3 ball. This ball flew much further than any other ball I have ever hit. No kidding I gained 10-20 yards on my drives. My swing speed is between 75-80 mph and I have a 20 handic

Precept XP3 yellow 6/24/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I actually liked the feeling of the ball around the greens and the distance was very good. I have to say the yellow balls were easier to see in the rough vs the white. I will buy these again.

Handicap 10 - 15
Love the ball! But was so frustrated because I had to hut for the ball on every drive! Most of the time it was in the middle of the fair way and I could not see it. I would mess up my next shot mad because I took so much time looking for the ball. I would love to exchange for the yellow or white. It's a good ball!!

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in climate controled area the is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not becuase the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controlable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A

Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
